In literary journalism class today, the professor talked about getting news from a variety of online sources, listing off the big guns– MSNBC, yahoo, google news… which made me realize that I get most of my news from BLOGS.  What kind of an online journalist does this make me if I am so readily embracing citizen journalism: the very thing that is effectively denying me any chance of ever actually landing a job that utilizes my degree???

When I find myself dressing like someone I’m dating (c’mon, did you have to wear orange, ORANGE? on the same day as me?  –or– plaid blue and purple shirts? we both own that? really???)  I often wonder if there is some psychological cosmic connection going on.  This series of  candid photos only makes me wonder more.
